How to Engage with Online Clients and Customers

If you are interested in providing online coaching, training, instruction, meetings or social meet ups via web conferencing, this course has been designed with you in mind. Learn practical, creative and engaging ways to connect with clients and the community online. This course is suitable if you have a basic level of technology or are new to online web conferencing and you want to explore what else is possible.

Throughout this short course, you will be guided through:

  • the products available for online video web conferencing (free and subscription options);
  • how to create a professional virtual office in your own home that looks good online;
  • how to achieve the best video and audio quality;
  • learn about content sharing tools that are available for use during live web meetings;
  • explore creative ways to make meetings more interactive and engaging for clients;
  • learn ways to stay connected to your community and maintain positive online connections;
  • explore several online teaching, learning, coaching, sharing and collaborative tools that make it easy and accessible for all of your clients no matter their age or experience with technology;
  • practical hands-on experience facilitating a live video web presentation.

Please note that this course is delivered entirely via live video web conferencing. The hands on support from your facilitator is provided remotely.

Create and Manage Facebook Advertising for Small Business

This short course is designed for small businesses to learn how to create and manage their own Facebook advertising.  It would suit people with an intermediate level of marketing and technology skills.

Throughout this short course students will be guided through:

  • The importance of social media
  • The importance of the Facebook pixel and retargeting
  • The major difference between boosting posts and using Ads Manager
  • The algorithm and Facebook funnel
  • The components of a successful ad
  • Laser targeting your audience (creating a saved, custom and lookalike audience)
  • Navigating through Business Manager
  • Analysing the results of your ad
  • Scaling your successful ad
  • Creating an ad

Students will leave this course with a LIVE Facebook ad for their business. This course is recommended for students who have previous Small Business Marketing experience, not for beginners.

Japanese Conversation – Level 1

This course is designed by Junko for absolute beginners who want to learn the necessary travel phrases, how to pronounce place names, order meals, shop and how to get around. Full of fun activities that focus on speaking and listening skills. By the end of the course you’ll be ready to pack your bags!

Students participate in role play, games and activities which makes the learning process fun and easy. The facilitator is a native Japanese person.

Topics include: basic pronunciation, romanised Japanese (romaji – this helps to read Japanese place names), necessary phrases for travel, daily greetings and expressions, introducing yourself, asking the time and business hours, asking directions, ordering food and buying souvenirs.

Starts: Thursday 21 May 6.30pm – 8.30pm
Course Details: 1 evening per week for 10 weeks
