One of Australia’s favourite storytellers, Josh Pyke has announced a national tour for January and February next year in support of his fifth studio album, But For All These Shrinking Hearts. Kicking off with the incredible Twilight At Taronga in January, the tour then sees Pyke hit stages in Canberra, Brisbane, Byron Bay, Melbourne, Geelong and Adelaide before finishing in Perth. And we’re thrilled to let you know that the Gold Coast gets a look-in as well.
Pyke will bring his shrinking heart to Miami Marketta’s Studio 56 on Thursday 4 February.
But for All These Shrinking Hearts was released in July 2015 and resulted in Pyke’s highest album debut yet. He was number two on the ARIA charts and number one on the Australian album charts. He toured around that time with a series of sold-out, very intimate fan gigs, so many people were left hoping for more of the acclaimed singer songwriter.
Pyke will be supported by Brisbane’s Banff and says he’s happy to be on the road again.
“I’m extremely excited to share this tour news! It’s been ages since I’ve done a full band tour, but it’s all happening next year, and I’ve tried to make as many shows all ages as possible,” he said
