The Sunshine Coasts’ seventh edition of the iconic Big Pineapple Festival hit Woombye on Saturday with a huge line-up of some of the hottest acts touring the world right now. It was a sold-out event that had our musical tastebuds tingling from all the juicy goodness.
Tones and I, West Thebarton, Laurel, The Chats, Kota Banks, Hands Like Houses, Thundamentals, Vera Blue, Peking Duk and PNAU were just some of the legends we caught on the bill and dual stages meant no wait time between acts and maximum amount of tunes in your ears.
Big Piney had you completely covered which ensured high vibes and good times. Glamping, camping, licensed bars, campfires, chill-out zones, fairground-style entertainment, a gazillion food options, hassle free shuttles to and from the festival and a killer line-up that had you reminiscing for days.
It is certainly easy to see why Big Pineapple Festival was crowned Queensland’s best festival.
If you haven’t tasted the goodness yet do yourself a favour and don’t miss this one next year. You will not be disappointed!
